Why is my Windows Home Server console blue?

Sometimes when you try to open the Windows Home Server console page it won't respond correctly and you will be presented with a blue screen. To resolve this issue close the unresponsive Console window and re-launch by double clicking on the Windows Home Server Tray Icon again.

This time, rather than entering your password and clicking on the arrow pointing right. Click on Options and click the line that reads "Reset the Windows Home Server Console..." as shown in the image below.
