Using the icon view
From MediaSmartServerWiki
With the release of Windows Home Server Power Pack 1, Microsoft introduced a new feature to Remote Access, a new ‘Views’ drop-down list. This feature can be enabled in the Shared Folders tab in remote access which allows the files in a shared folder to be displayed either as a list of files (‘Details’ view) or as thumbnails (‘Icons’ view). In ‘Icons’ view, the majority of the picture files will be represented as thumbnails, and the rest of the non-picture files and folders will be displayed as large icons.
To see this new feature, you will need to logon to your server via your Browser. For example http://my.hphomeserver.com.
- Click on Shared Folders, and the choose one of your shared folders and click on it.
You should now see the Views menu, click on it and select Icons.
