I Have seen forums which are probably using the same Forum software, that provide and RSS feed. It would be great if that can be added to the MediaSmartServer Forum.

Any chance ib removing that huge picture of the ex470 from the rss feed? It's just so "in your face" with every comment I read. If this does not make sense, I can send you a screenshot of what I am seeing and that can probably help.

That must depend on the reader you use, as my google sidebar iGoogle homepage don't show it. To be honest I implemented a phpbb add-on written by some developer, if I get a chance I'll dig into the code to see how to remove it. Thanks for the feedback.

cakalapati, thanks for sending me the screenshot, that was indeed ugly. I do believe it's reader-dependent, if you pull up the URL in IE it doesn't show the pic. Perhaps your reader has an option to not display images?

Regardless, I found the offending tags and have removed them, let me know if that improves thinigs for you. My only concern is that I may now be violating the RSS spec, so I'll look into it more later.

Just posting a follow up that whatever fix you made had no impact. Just for kicks, I subscribed to your RSS feed through the RSS reader that comes with Firebox 3 Beta 5. Even though I do not see the huge image in the Firefox reader, something fishy is happening behind the scenes. I can see its downloading something massive because after a few seconds from reading the post, a small (and ugly looking) MSS picture comes up as the icon. It's as if it download the image each time and tries to (rather unsuccessfully) convert that large picture to a tiny icon. I'll have to get you a screenshot to show you.

Anyhoo, thanks for all your help.

I think I found the problem with the image, it should be much smaller now. Let me know if this resolves things, or if the new smaller image is still too big and we should ditch an image all together.
