Hello All

I am new to the forum and have a couple issues I need assistance with relating to remote management.

1) I cannot access the HP MediaSmart Server via HTTPS post 3.0 upgrade from the LAN or WAN.
2) Post 3.0 upgrade, via the web interface, the links using port 80 do not work. All the links remotely provide a "connection interrupted" error. I do get the same error on the LAN.
3) the iPhone app does not function. I continuously get "server stopped responding error".

Please help! I was looking forward to the 3.0 upgrade, but these issues are very frustrating. Remote access worked fine in the 1.0 version.

Also, anyone have insight into using the RDC feature into the MediaSmart Server. It will not let me log in.

Thanks in Advance!

Well, my 2 cents, my 3.0 upgrade went as yours did, problems, so I ended up backing my data up and doing a clean install with the 3.0 upgrade software and then all went well. There may be another way, but that was what I did.

Before starting over all I can say is get in there and check everything, make sure you have all the HP updates and Microsoft updates and reboot a couple of times to see if it's just settling in.

RDC you should be able to login using your admin username and password.

Administrator
password that you setup when you first fired it up
enter

You might even try using one of the usernames and passwords you setup, but admin is normally what everybody uses.
Goodluck
