Anyone have server recovery disc v3.0 from HP? I can not find the link tou buy from HP.

I try to reinstall and I want put this version in the server.

Just bought my EX470 through Craiglist for cheap and I'm in need of the server recovery disc. Kindly, Please any have a copy of the iso or know any anywhere that i can download would be much appreciated.

sorry to ask, I got noone to blame but myself..
I've bought myself an EX495 and happy with it, so decided to give my EX475 to my brother - all well so far.
Except.... I've found the 2 recover/restore disks, but cannot find the Software Installation Disk.
Didn't catch the upgrade to 3.0 in time, so talking version 1.1.


Any link to a download spot would be very much appreciated.

Just found this site, looks like I came to the right place. I too just purchased the EX470 online, with no disks at all, and the seller won't return my emails.
Is it possible for me to get a link as well? I'm starting from scratch with no password or disks.

Unfortunately your going to have to contact HP for a set of recovery disks. In the past they have been very accomodating but as time passes I am not certain how true this would be. The 3.0 disks are a long shot but if you have purchased them in the past maybe they might help you out.

It never hurts to ask so good luck there and please do come back and let everyone know if HP helps your out or not. This will be helpful to others.

Recently I received an HP EX470 server but it came without any disk (the last owner lost them). As I thought it would be very complicated to reinstall WHS without the disks i tried to install Linux in it but it was even more difficult.
I ask you for your help since I don't have any further idea of how to get my Home Server running.
If anyone could send me by PM any help it would be phantastic.

Edit: I forgot to say that I called HP and they said to me that as HP mediasmart servers are unsupported they can't send me a copy of the disks I am asking for...

I have an EX475 with no recovery discs. If someone has an ISO available, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

ive got an ex 470 from ebay without any software.

i would be pleased to get the software.

This is a real bummer. I've looked all over and can't find my disc. What is so hard about having HP post the last supported version of the Recovery software on their site like most vendors?

So if I can not find my disc, what are my options? Is the ISO file available somewhere? I bought server when they first hit the street. It had been working fine until a couple of weeks ago.

If I can't get my up and running, are there any recommendations for a replacement home network server? Definitely NOT HP. Am I better off with a USB 3.0 external?

I need to do a recovery. Dug out the media and found that the server recovery disc is damaged and unreadable. Can someone help?

I also cannot locate my software restore CD's. I called HP and even gave them my order number but all they said was that they no longer carry these dvd's and do not have the option to send them back out. So I'm not to happy with this. I have looked everywhere and cannot find them so If anyone has the recovery cd for the 470/475...Which I was told by HP are the same thing I would love to get the link. Please help me out here! I really don't want to downgrade back to v1.0

Hey guys, I used Bitsnoop.com and search for "EX470" to get the Recovery disc. It was much, much quicker than download link after link after link from Rapidshare since I don't have a premium account.

I finally made it past the fail step 2 of 4, 3 of 4 and even 4 of 4. Now here's the kicker, the disk is scratched and the recovery failed.

Can someone point me in the direction of a digital download for the:

"Server Recovery Disc
Version 3.0 HP
EX490 series"?
