Hello.
Does anyone have Lights Out working on WHS 2011 on an HP Microserver?

Simply cannot get it to suggest other options than to turn off my server.

Would somehow like to reduce its power consumption.
it runs 24 / 7

uses about 200 W

HP Micro server
Hp p410 Raidcontroller
2 * 250 GB raid 1
2 * 2 TB Raid 5

Extra case
Hp SAS expander
8 * 2 TB Raid 5

I have setup lights out and WHS2011 on the a microserver.

The power settings for the server are limited however I have managed to enable hibernation through the command line. The server seems to go into and out of hibernation fine although you can't select it from the shutdown menu on the server, on the WHS dashboard or within lights out. The only way I can put the server into hibernation is by selecting suspend in lights out either on the server or on a client.

Another thing to check is that the network card has been set to allow wake on LAN (WOL). By default it isn't and will stop your server from responding to commands from lights out.
