Recently Alex post a review for the VidaBox CubeCase Mini ITX Server Case that was interesting. Here is a link to his review incase you missed it. http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2010/10 ... rver-case/

Back on July 16th I have posted a message reguarding my build of a Vail MiniServer using a CFI Mini ITX Case which is very similar to the VidaBox Alex reveiwed. Here is a link to my original post. viewtopic.php?t=8501

Today I took some pictures to show the how similar the two cases are as well as to illustrate the differences of the two. I do like both enclosures equally so I do not favor one over the other. I do have my likes and dislikes but between the two cases it really comes down to a personal prefrence.

Rather then discuss my opinions which I have already done with responses in Alexes review I just thought it best to show you pictures of the two cases side by side. In all the pictures where the two cases are shown the CFI is on the Left and the VidaBox is on the Right.

Should you have any questions about these two cases or desire to share your comments please feel free to do so. As you will see the space between the two is limited and so cable routing as always is difficult with a Mini ITX eclosure.

Now on to the picture show:

Here is a link to some additional CFI Mini ITX cases that are currently available for those who want some additional options for this style case.

http://www.e-itx.com/cfi-a7879.html

On that link there is a CFI A9849 that has me interested and the price is right too.
