Currently, I do get an email notification when someone posts a reply to one of my subscribed threads.

Is it possible that the contents of those new posts be included in that email notification instead of just including a link back to the site?

It would allow me to read the topic reply in my email client (or blackberry) without having to go to this site to read the reply.

You're probably already aware that some discussion forums already do this (e.g. avsforum.com, xbox.com, etc.)

Thanks for considering the idea.

Unfortunately I'm using an out-of-the-box solution (phpbb) for the forums here. I too am a member of other sites that include more details in the PM and Subscribed emails, and I do value that feature. I can do some looking to see if there are any add-ins to this software to provide that feature, but can't promise anything.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Ok, thanks to a tip from Cougar, I've added the modification patch to enable this feature. 8) Let me know how it works!

Well, I just got the email on my blackberry and it works!!!!!!!!!

Now, that was FAST!!!! THANKS ALEX!!!

Thanks for making this happen.

Now, if Microsoft can only fix the data corruption just as fast, we'd be rockin'. :D

Anyone notice that email updates on this thread are no longer addressed to you? I'm getting emails now addressed to other members. :(

Check your mail, you should have a forwarded example in it.

Darkone sent me several examples. It looks like just the username is incorrect, and no personal information or email address are shared. I'm not sure of the cause yet, worst case scenario I remove this feature...

Is anyone else seeing this problem? If so, please describe the frequency with which you see it.

I'm having this problem also but it is intermittent.
