Hi there,

I have recently tried to update my Mcafee subscribtion but something had gone wrong and mcafee blocked all access to my server. So I started doing a server recovery and all went fine untill it comes to "Installing updates on your homeserver ....34% compleat" And now it just stands there for ages and ages without anything happening.

Am I doing something wrong? i tried everything i can think off, i even took out my drives so only the operating system drive is installed. But still it stops at 34%.

I hope someone is able to help me with this problem.

Yours Sincerely

Tass

The actual Recovery process doesn't display an visual percentage so I am going to take a guess that you mean the initial updates are hanging at 34%.
This is where you see a blue-background screen with some flashy display and text about the Windows Home Server features.

If that is the case, just leave it and wait.
It is a known issue and used to hang at 14% in the past. Your server is downloading and installing .NET Framework 3.5 at the same time.
Just give it a couple hours.

I had the exact issue and with some patience, everything installed.

Thanks.
