I have a MSS EX-470 fully updated with PP2. I'm trying to open a backup on WHS from a client computer. When it gets at 81%, the client gets a bluescreen and the computer restart. I tried from another and it does the same. I've successfully opened a backup before while some others were experiencing that problem. I have installed PP2 at the end of april because my WHS is in french.

On another subject, after installing PP2, my remote access works but WHS says it's not working. Before both options in settings had a green checkmark, now I get a red X.

Does anyone knows a solution for these 2 problems?

Hi Klode, the Remote Access issue unfortunately seem to be a known issue. Another member here recently created a Connect bug and was told it was a known issue.

The 81% issue I recommend you log with Microsoft, I know the Backup team is interested in learning about these after PP2.

Have you tried our Add-Ins?

I posted a thread on Microsoft Windows Home Server Forum as well and Lara Jones told me it was a problem with the client. Lara provide me with a hotfix to solve the issue. I applied the hotfix and it fixed it. I was able to open my backups again. If you are experiencing the same issue, and are interested in the hotfix, please see kb946084.
