I've implemented Clustrmap (thanks for the suggestion, Cougar!) which shows a cool map with little blotches for all you visitors. So far it's just me and Cougar on there, as I had it set for mod-only visibility, but in a day or so we should have a nice speckled map to enjoy.

Look for it at the bottom of any page, and do let me know if you experience any slowness, page load issues, etc.

Just dropped by the clustrmap but it didn't seem to be registering new visits as it was still only listing 3 visits?

I think the map must update periodically, not instantly, as it's showing a nice spread across the US and Europe now, with couple lonely dots in Australia and Hawaii. :)

I gotta say watching the Clustrmap update every day is a heck of a lot of fun. :) I'm wondering who is posting from their boat off the eastern US coast, though?

This is probably because the individual was on Telstra (a local ISP).

If it cannot calculate the location, Telstra's IP's usually default to the centre of Australia which Alice Springs would be the closest to.
