Anyone know where I can pick up this software?
Believe it or not I still use it and find it very useful. I want to setup a media server for my buddy and would like to get a legit copy.

Another 2 questions.

If I have a trial version and install it, will it ask me to purchase a license copy, and is it possible?

I looked on ebay and found 1 copy for $89.99 and a few others for $189.00.
Considering it only cost $30, that is a big jump in price.

To answer your question about the trial, I don't know but it might be worth a try. Load it up and see what happens.
Whs 2011 was built on Server 2008 which I believe is still viable so you may be able to buy it, if you try, let us know...

Windows server 2008 has a Jan 2020 end of life.

Can i use this version for my HP datavault x310?

WHS 2011 could be used on all the microservers I believe as long as:
1) you have the VGA adapter so you can see to install it.
2) You can find drivers for your hardware.

I have tried 2011 and did not like it.
IMHO one should stay with WHS v1 as long as you can, that is what I am doing.
But there will come a time when it needs to be reloaded and we will not be able to get updates anymore for it, Microsoft will make sure of that.

They're still ten to fifteen bucks on ebay all day long. I got mine that way.
