Hi everyone,

I have read the article with reference to Munin for windows : http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2010/03 ... ith-munin/

I'm trying to implement munin-node-win32 for windows server 2008/2012, but there is no way to monitor the CPU usage (the graph remains blanks), and I'm also wondering how he got specific values such as "eth0 trafic" e.i. Other values (disk, network, processes etc) works perfectly.

Could you help me ?
thanks, Mickael

A google search on Munin with Server 2008 turns up a lot of hits that are more likely to help you, since my post was specific to Munin-node on WHS.

Thanks but I know how to make a google search, i would not have post on this forum otherwise #-o
Could you explain how you made it with WHS ? I think it is very similary for any windows.

I'm using munin-node-win32 v1.5.1942-bin. I run it with munin-node-win32 v1.5.1942-bin -run
Everything is OK except the empty CPU chart and plug-in which failed to load (ie : "Failed to load PerfCounter plugin : [PerfCounterPlugin_disktime]

thank you

I simply installed the agent, modified the .ini file, and configured the server to query the client. I am using the same version as you. My ini file:
Quote:
[Plugins]
Disk=1
Memory=1
Processes=1
Network=1
MbmTemp=1
MbmVoltage=1
MbmFan=1
MbmMhz=1
Cpu=1
HD=1
SMART=0
SpeedFan=0
External=1

A google search on your error message shows several bug reports and discussions that may be helpful. Some people had issues with non-English language systems.

Here's a guide for Server 2008 that looks helpful with lots of settings listed.

Here's a 1.6 and 1.6.1 download you can try.

I've never tried to get it working on server 2008 or 2012, you're probably better off checking munin specific sites. Good luck.
