I am having a problem with my HP MediaSmart server model EX415.

I was trying to save an image file to the server, and nothing was happening. I kept trying a couple of times and then all of a sudden the directory on the server got deleted.  However, when I did a search on the server using Adobe Bridge, I found one of the missing files listed as being located in "photos (\\HPSERVER) (B:)". Unfortunately, I can not see this directory on the server. I was hoping I could post this problem on the forum and get suggestions on how I can recover all the files from the missing directory.

Can you be more specific on your server model which could be an EX475, EX485 or EX495 and which version of the HP Software is installed on the Server.

The EX47x has either HP v1.x or 3.x, the EX48x has v2.x or 3.x and the EX49x only has v3.x. This is the HP Software which runs within the WHSv1 OS.

As for the missing directory your referring to is it off the System Drive or your Storage Pool? The System Drive would be easier to correct depending on which directory is missing but the Storage Pool is more problematic. How are you actually looking at the server directories?
