-Plug in the Panini Press
-Grab 2 nice slices of sourdough from the freezer (makes spreading the butter on the outside easier)
-lightly butter the outside of the sourdough
-measure ~1 rounded teaspoon of Classico Basil Pesto, spread evenly on one inside sourdough surface
-measure ~1 rounded teaspoon of Helmans light mayo, spread evenly on the other inside sourdough surface
-wash and thinly slice one firm ripe roma tomato and layer on the sourdough with the Helmans mayo
-lightly pepper the tomatoes and dust sparingly with sea salt
-layer your thin sliced turkey breast or chicken breast
-place a nice slice of havarti on top of the thin sliced deli meat
-close the deal placing the pesto spread sourdough ontop of the cheese
-open the now heated panini press and let it do its thing until the outside of the sandwich is a nice golden brown.
-profit

If you don't have a panini press you can do much the same thing in a fry pan like a grilled cheese, or in a toaster oven. If using the toaster oven method, don't butter the outside of the bread, and cook it open faced with the meat being the top layer on the mayo side and havarti being the top layer on the pesto side.

Sounds pretty good, will have to give it a try sometime though I'm more of a skillet guy and don't have the press. :)

The Panini press was a gift from my mother, (yes she is a Sicilian). But it's kind of like those Nestle Quik commercials where the rabbit can't help but chug chug chug the milk, even though the panini is really hot it gets consumed in record time (snarf). Can't help myself
