Well after using both of the Hybrid's over the past couple of days so far so good. Both units have 4GB Ram and the 1.67 proc, blue ray drives etc... Plan to use one of them in an area w/out ethernet so will have to see how much I'm able to stream over the built in wireless.

Form factor is ideal -
Its about as loud or quite as a comcast HD PVR

Movies, VMC etc... work just fine. The only issue so far has been on one MKV where the audio was out of sync - a stop/start fixed this but I'll have to test a bit more to determine a root cause. Plan to play the same movie via a quadcore this weekend to rule out processor.

Thanks for the update, I will probably be putting an order together this weekend for the Hybrid. As for the mkv, could it possibly be a codec issue?
