Curious if anyone watches the TV Series "Merlin 2008" (figured there are at least some UK folks here that may watch). Series finale was just last night, wanted to see what others thought.

I've watched one episode and liked it. It's on my to watch list. I've got several other I'm going through at the moment. I like to sit down and watch severl episodes in a sitting. You get through it a lot faster.

Yeah, I only started watching when Season 4 started, so likewise I was able to watch nearly 4 seasons in a matter of a month.

Just an FYI, the series finale was last night (Season 5), so just be careful lurking around as there is a bit of a spoiler with the last episode (seems not a lot of fans are happy about). Overall i thought it was a very good series.

It's been mainstay viewing with the kids since it came out and replaced the Robin Hood slot. Was a good series, although it felt rushed in the last few episodes. Maybe they decided to end the series "unplanned" and had to wing it a little. The final moments could make an interesting spin off though.

Yeah, not sure how true but supposedly they wanted to do a season 6 but the actors were not on board. This could explain why it became so rushed to squeeze everything in to get to the prophecized ending. Although the storyline got predictable with the last season or two I think they could have really taking things in a different direction if Merlin's secret had been known earlier on (could of had some interesting Merlin/Arthur adventures around that)
