Anyway, i was reading on the specs and the first reviews of the new Transformer I gotta tell you the only thing better is the price.

Yeah, the price is a smart move and for what a tablet is price imo is a critical component

IMO none of this companies have a chance against Apple not because of hardware but software. I like the Asus and i think it would be great using Windows 8.

Oh it is definitely a huge uphill battle for any company to make a serious dent in the tablet market vs. the iPad. From my personal use of both I have not been in a situation where I have had to use and felt that iOS did a better job then ICS. That being said, right now Android is still way behind Apple in terms of marketing/brand recognition (which goes a long way for Apple)

If a legit W8 tablet based on the ASUS type hardware is successful, then at that point the whole tablet market becomes a moot point to me, at least in terms of Android/iOS

The only Android tablet I have used is the Transformer. With ICS for me it is just as smooth/capable iOS/iPad. The only negative I have is the Optimum LiveTV app is only supported on iOS. Also, I have to factor in the fact that I have my iOS devices jailbroken to get more functionality out of.
