i think they are make mistakes like microsoft does or use to...

they jump into a produce to test the waters then before it can truely mature they discontinue it.

For WHS it was a huge waste.... for webOS Im not sure but really what was the point of even trying if they are going to kill so soon after launch.

I think they killed it too soon. WebOS is really a joy to use. Much smoother and intuitive on a tablet than android gingerbread.

Yup. I'm really ticked at HP with WebOS. It's obvious it was Mark Hurd's vision, and once he got the boot so did the vision. HP had a real chance to be a viable competitor to Apple and they COMPLETELY flushed it.

Android, especially in tablets, is a disaster. I started seeing some rumors that Google would depreciate the Android brand in favor of their "Play" brand and move more towards the Apple model where they own the whole vertical stack. I chalked it up to Apple fanboy ranting until last week.

I don't think the have a choice. While they are getting lots of marketshare "sales", but no profit - have flushed billions so far with little to show shareholders for it....
