Apple unveiled iTunes Match and based on my short experience with it its not that bad but it still needs work. Out of my 11756 songs only 500 are not recognized by iTunes. One thing that would be a killer is if iTunes would allow streaming of you music.
I am sure most of us have a music server that allow us to stream our music, but would you consider iTunes Match if it allows you to stream your music without using your own bandwidth?

If you are at home, you can "stream" from iTunes on your local network already.

That's what I use iTunes loaded on my Home Server for 8)

You can today. You can download the higher quality songs matched if they happen to be better than yours. Great article on managing that process: http://www.macworld.com/article/1163620 ... _fast.html And if your home you can stream away from your local server. There are easy ways to integrate Xboxes, PS3's, Tivo's and other devices. Refurbished AppleTVs can be hand for around $80 and it's my favorite Netflix player other than the one on the PS3.

Macworld has a bunch of really good articles in iTunes Match in general.
