I ordered another batch of 120mm fan boards on Friday. The fabricator indicated ETA is approximately 2 - 4 weeks. I expect they'll be available before the end of the month.

Hey, i'm looking to buy a 4220 case. I heard that Norco is supposed to be offering their own 120mm fan board, has anybody else heard of that or have more information on that?

Also, wouldn't it just be easier to buy 4 80mm fans with a lower noise ratio then 50db? I was looking at these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835104003 Suffer a lower CFM I know, but if you don't have 20 drives running then it shouldn't be a big deal

Here is my build currently, haven't ordered it yet still nit picking parts around: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Publi ... r=12859505 I'll add more HD's for years to come as I need them

Also not to hijack this thread, but did anyone have issues with the power connectors on the backplanes or have any advice for this? I was thinking of maybe epoxying them down before trying to connect them I don't wanna break them off

You should probably start a new topic (probably in the DIY forum) with your build specs and questions around the power connectors. :mss:

Not enough to requests justify the cost of making another batch. Norco has indicated they'll be offering their version of the 120mm fan board in their accessories section soon. Not sure what that means. However, if they do, I most likely won't make another batch.
