Thanks. I just was not sure as there are a few different types. Thought the Slipstreams just because they flow more air. Your drive temps are fine if running 24/7 ? These fans plug into the power strip from the 80mm fans ? Can't wait to get these screamers out of this case. Just was not sure if i would have to sacrifice the drives getting hot to make the case more quiet ! Thank god you made a fan board that will quiet the storm.

Andromeda runs 24/7. The fans plug into the stock fan power backplane. Drive temps are fine. See the Disk Management screenshot taken last night below:

No. The balanced storage pool is compliments of PP3.

Sorry about posting another "I subscribed too" message, but I subscribed a week or 2 back, but don't seem to be getting the email notifications for new posts. Not holding my breath, but hoping that an actual post will trigger things...

I had previously clicked on the "Subscribe Topic" link at the top of the page for the thread but wasn't getting notifications. After posting to the thread and making sure the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box was checked, I'm now getting notifications. I prefer not to post a non-message to subscribe to a thread, but if it's the only thing that works...

I received a notification by email when iceboi made his post, and I had simply clicked the "Subscribe topic" link in the top-left of the page. I did not have to submit a reply in order to receive email notifications.

Not trying to derail Cavediver's topic too much (go order a board from him now that he's got them in stock!), but I've been getting the emails without issue and wanted to speak to what I believe is the problem. The behavior of the forums is that when you subscribe to a topic, and email is sent when the first new reply is posted. Subsequent replies are not emailed until you have visited the topic to view the reply. After you visit the topic, the next new reply will generate an email. This is covered in detail in this forum post.
