I would love to have this but the missus would shoot me, especially since I've got about $300 worth of SSDs on the way here so I can finally get Home Server SMART 2012 and WindowSMART 2012 out of beta.

Anyhow it begs the question -- dumping your WHS gear?

No, about once a year, as a hobby, I build a new server or upgrade, following the directions of some trail blazer before me.

I built an HP Proliant MicroServer N40L WHS2011 Server and, decided there is no reason to keep the DataVault sitting there eating electricity.

Right now, I have both servers running side by side with the same data stored on both servers plus in the cloud with KeepVault.

I have the MicroServer with an eSata 4bay enclosure backing up to a Drobo 4bay enclosure.

I placed each shared folder on it's own hard drive, with another hard drive used as storage for the KeepVault local backup.

Each folder is backed up with the WHS2011 back up and, then backed up again with the KeepVault local back up, and then backed up one more time in the cloud with KeepVault.

I tried the Stablebit drive pool add-in but couldn't get it running the way I wanted with KeepVault and the Drobo.

can you even use that processor in the datavault?
