I'm thinking about selling my EX470 with upgraded ram & CPU (highly prized 4200 35w).

Between installing WHS 2011 and WHSV1 2 or 3 times, I have also managed to wipe the on board memory chip.

You can still load WHSV1 on it but, you will have to use a work around that, Bruce so kindly helped me with.

WHS 2011 loads easily by following Alex's tutorial.

I will also include the 3.0 HP disks.

I will be removing all hard drives for use in the HP Proliant Micro Server that I just purchased.

PM me with an offer if you are interested.

Regards
Chris

Hi CBick,

Is it just the USB SMI Area thats the issue with the EX470? Thats an easy one to work around if you have the SMI files loaded on a Bootable USB Flash Drive.

Correct!

That is the issue.

And, thank you for teaching me how to build the USB drive for server recovery. :D

Regards
Chris

I had forgotten about the VGA cable which, I will no longer be needing.

It is for sale also, either separately or included with the MSS.

Regards
Chris
