I upgraded my EX487 and EX490 from the stock 2 GB to 4 GB, and have the 2 x 2 GB Hynix memory that came out of both of those on eBay. Although the HP part number is slightly different, the Hynix part number is identical on both, so it's identical memory suitable for upgrading an EX47x or any other DDR2 PC2-6400 capable desktop. It's non-ECC, unbuffered, CL6, timings 6-6-6.
