Hi All,
I am having the following problem:

While transferring a chunk (10 Gigs) of files from my main computer to the mediaserver via a 100 megabit network the media server boggs down and can't handle anything else.

For example:
A. Trying to access the server via the web I can't even get the password screen to come up.
B. The connector program becomes very very slow.

As soon as I stop the transfer or it finished everything works again.

However, while the transfer is going on I can browse the internet from my main computer without a problem. I can move files around my network between other computers. I can browse the folder structure on the media server.

Seems to me that the server should be able to manage two things at once...

Can you guys test this scenario out on your ex470s. While transferring a tone of music try accessing the server via the web? Does it work?

Thanks,
Dubbly

I get the same, runs really slow, but if you open up a full rdp sesion on the server, and run task manager and switch to the network tab, mine shows it running nearly flat out at 95%. I need to upgrade my switch to Gigabit.
