This has nothing to do with third party backup services. This pertains to the built in backup service with whs. |

I know this is a very old post. But I was hoping someone can help me. I just restored my EX495 Server, after it was lying idle for a long time. I see that the WHS connector install keeps failing as the backup service is not running. I went and viewed the error on the server and it tells me that the Client Backup server failed at d:\wssg_src\whs_pp2\qhs\src\backup\server\service\qsminterface.cpp(333) However, when I browse to D:, I do not even see these folders there. I also cannot find that microsoft article that was linked in this post (as it seems to have moved). Can anyone guide me on how I can resolve this error so that the backup service can start running again. Thanks, Pradeep |
