I followed the instructions for being able to see "Recorded TV" in MCE when you move those TV Shows to WHS.

They worked one time. Saw the files that I had moved to the WHS.

Then, coincidentally, WHS told me one of my 500gb drives was unhealthy. I ran repair on it and it's now reported as healthy.

Then, coincidentally, I can no longer see those shows anymore. They're there. I can see them in explorer. But not in MCE. The settings are all still as they were when they worked. The batch file referenced in the article is still there.

So, I'm not sure if one event led to another, but it was worth mentioning. I see someone wrote a $25 integration feature that's supposed to do this for you. I'm interested, but would really like to get this to work on my own. Thanks for any suggestions.
