I can't get the page on your MSS to come up. Have you tried rebooting it?

I have tried that oh lets say every other day but no luck ! I was going to reset the console but....I am not sure how different that is. That is the error message I get, But if you try - https://ravals.homeserver.com/home/ you should be able to see my homserver login page. When you get to this page there are my websites to the right. Those are the sites that give me error messages per my initial post.

thanks

Okay ! After some phone calls to HP I got to a HP rep who really wanted to see me get this issue fixed. So we spent about an hour on the phone and tested everything and we finally reset the server to simply reset the OS and still no luck. Thereater he asked me if I was OK with a factory reset so we did it and everything works great ! Its really good to get the webshare to work.

Thanks to the Canada call center this individual was very patient and wanted to solve this issue. Note I had heard him say this error 500 page has occured with others.

I had not been able to work the link to your original message so did not see the reference to the "500" error until your last post. I had what was evidently the same problem and also had to do a full reset/reload.

In my case I had it working originally (circe 16 Dec) and lost it when I shut down the server to physically move it (19 Dec). Working with HP (a US call center guy who was VERY helpful) the best we could determine was that one of the add-ins set up the problem but that it did not become evident until a reboot. I had installed some 6-7 add-ins during the Beta/RC phases and had rather blindly picked up current copies of each and just installed them. This time around I have been VERY careful which add-ins have been installed and am only using the ones I really am serious about -- at least for now. I am back to three (Event Monitor, Toolkit and Event Viewer) and have successfully shut MSS down and used Photo WebShare since.

As I bring others back into play it will be interesting to see if I "loose" it again -- but if the order of installation is a factor I may never know.

Sooo.. Food for thought as you proceed. Good luck!
