Today I added a PC to my MSS, and at the installation of the Home Server Connector Software there was an error which said the PC did not have any NTFS disks, so no backup configuration could be created. The installation did finish normal. As I was sure the two disks on the PC were NTFS I was trying to configure this on the WHS Console. But every time I got an error message after ±15 minutes, saying 'Home PC is unresponsive'.

I found the following article which explained this error.

Fixing the registry as described at: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/931697 and rebooting the system resolved the issue.

The problem is likely to be caused that in the past the disk was re-organized by using some kind of Partition Manager!
