Ok, I will try to explain this the best possible.

I host a voice chat program (i.e. TeamSpeak/mumble/Ventrillo) on a PC that also servers a game for me and some friends.

All worked well until I got my MSS then we noticed every 5-15 minutes the voice chat program would drop us for 2-3 seconds and reconnect again all the time?

I even loaded the voice server program on my MSS and it continued?

After stopping services one by one on my MSS, I think I have found the issue (We are testing it currently, with no failure so far)

MSS has a autoconfig for the router settings and I guess every 5-15 minutes it messes with the router just for a second, but enough to drop the connection on certain programs like these. I have set it to manual config and so far so good.

I looked around for answers but since this MSS and WHS is so new there is little info as everyone is learning about the in's and out's.

I will post my finding in the next few days with my results, but so far I think I'm looking good.

I do know that WHS tries to verify the router config is still active, though I do not know the frequency that the check is performed. Sounds like you found the frequency, though!

I've not seen any issues playing Xbox or other games, though.

I know it does not effect the game on my server PC we play only the voice chat program? So hopefully this will fix it and anyone else having issues will find it useful.

I hope to have my conclusion in the next day or so after a load test is done
