I have a My Book 250 GB drive connected to my desktop computer via firewire. My question concerns backing up this drive. I have been unable to do so. I get an incomplete backup in dication. Going into the details I get the following message. Any suggestions?

An Unexpected exception occurred on the computer.
IndexoutOfRange Exception
Index was outside the bounds of the array
At Microsoft.HomeServer.common.client.bitmap.get_Item(int64 index)
At Microsoft.Home.Server.backup.NTFS.FileRecorder.Next()
At Microsoft.Home.Server.backup.bacupon.backupoperation.dofile

That is strange, where do you get this message, in the backup history on the server console? I'd suggest running a chkdisk on that HDD. I'd also search the WHS Forums for other occurances of that...

Let us know what you find out!
