Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up my MSS. I've got everything working great. My users and I can log into the server, we can access shares. I've got the remote settings correct. But I've got one problem. The Webshare site says every user I try has an invalid username or password. If I make the homepage the Windows Home Server homepage, I can log in and access shares and the remote desktop. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure you click the checkbox next to each users name in the Webshare settings tab. I think that's likely the issue...

Actually, that is one of the things I tried to fix it. No go

I have the issue now resolved. I called HP Tech support, and after trying all kinds of options, resets and such the only thing that worked was doing a Server Re-install.

After working on this for a couple days, I think I know what my problem was. I installed the DHCP and DNS Server componants on my MSS. But I think I forgot to go back and change my server name to match my domain zone and such that I setup in DNS. Unfortunately I'll never be sure because I setup all those things from scratch again.

However I can now say that everything is workign Flawlessly now!
