I have the console and backup working quite well on my Windows 10 Desktop. I want to add the console to several other computers so I can have them backed up. I've been working on my laptop to get it set up. It's been a challenge.

Initially, the connector installation would fail after entering the admin password, "This operation cannot be completed at this time". I tried stopping the process in task manager and that did not work. What seems to have worked is doing a restart after getting the error message, but not cancelling the install.

I've read and read and read and have done the following:

Enabled SMB1client and automatic removal are enabled
,NET Framework 3.3 installed
,NET Framework 4.8 installed
Network set to PRIVATE
File and printer sharing on
Enable-TlsCipherSuite -Name TLS_RSA_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA
Enable-TlsCipherSuite -Name TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA

My HPSERVER now shows up on my network. However, I have to logon with password to see the shared folders.

The Console icon is visible, but greyed out in the system tray. I can launch the console and logon to the HPSEVER from the start menu.

All options under Computers and Backup are greyed out.

I know others have had the same difficulties with W10 and W11. I just cannot find a comprehensive list of things to check/do to get this working.

Thank you.
