When I installed the fan control, and followed the instruction the health LED on the server went from red to blinking blue. But I also noticed that along with the the network health warning going away, I also lost my hard drive lights completely.
I then uninstalled, or so I thought, the fan control msi again going through the procedures to do so, to find out that it didn't un-install.
The tab remained in the console, and the health LED returned no longer blinking blue to bright red and my hard drive lights returned. Is this maybe a resource allocation problem with the msi?

What is the version of your server.
The fan control plugin does not work on the ex4XX series.

The plugin only works with the EX470 and EX475, which it looks like you're running based on the 1.1.3 software version. It's hard to say what happened, what else have you done to the server, what other add-ins have you installed? Have you tried a Server Recovery?
