Hi, I haven't powered up my HP mediasmart server in several years. It was working properly the last time I used it. When I boot it up, none of the hard drive lights light up. The three status lights on the bottom panel light up. The health indicator light is blue and flashes. When I poke a paperclip into the access hole, no other codes appear. Should I pull out each HDD and reboot to see if any of them need a CHKDSK /r ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, B. |

I would suspect that you probably have a bad drive. Hopefully you have the original cd's. Are you sure the drive led's are not breathing.also. That would indicate the the install is not completed with the connector not installed on the first client. |
