Post subject:  EX495 Creating New Shared Folders when connected remotely

Hi, I just recently setup Remote Access for my EX495 through DYN.com.

Things are working pretty well, except I have not been able to Create New Shared Folders when connected remotely.

The HP HELP instructions on this topic state the following:
===============
Change files and folders on Windows Home Server
You can also use Remote Access to create new folders within a shared folder, to rename files and folders, and to delete files and folders on your home server.
Note
To add new shared folders on Windows Home Server, you must use the Windows Home Server Console. To connect to the console from within Remote Access, click the Computers tab, and then click Connect to your Home Server.
===============

Note that it says to click the "Computers Tab" ???????

A "Computers Tab" does not appear anywhere on any screen that I have available when remotely connected to the EX495.

Does anyone know where that "Computers Tab" is located OR how I would add Shared Folders when remotely connected?

Thanks in advance, Regards, GE

Hopefully you have figured this out by now.
But in case not, I have not had remote access turned on for (well a long time) because it was to slow and I never was that far away.
I used it back when I had the EX-470 and used the photo sharing stuff.

But to your question, when you remote access the server with a browser I believe there was a computer tab/music tab/photo tab something to that effect, I forget it has been many years.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page, it may help:

Good Luck and enjoy.
