I have an ex475 that I failed to flash the BIOS hack on and was looking to see if anyone has one no longer of us to them. I was about to buy one but to spend just under a $100 to find out that I can't access the BIOS would be a drag.

Let me know if you have one around and we can work something out.

Sorry, can't work something out with ya, but:
I can say Buying the $80 video/keyboard version I believe is a great investment in case somewhere down the road you wanted to employ a different OS or had other problems.
That being said, the ex-470 being the older series and showing their age, it might not be worth it unless you were to upgrade to something newer EX-490 or x-500 then having the video/keyboard and bios access would be well worth it as you could run other OS'es on these boxes with power to spare after some other upgrades.

Sorry, not what your looking for, but hope it helps none the less. Most people that have them, have them in place and don't really want to be taking their server apart to remove them.

I see your problem, by the time you spend $80 on board and then spend say $300-$400 on a better server you are well on your way to building a DIY that would have video access.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
