My server has recently been randomly rebooting an throwing error 41. What is the easiest way to figure out what is causing the error.

This is of concern as I was trying to sell one of my servers. I would have hated giving a problem to someone else. I luckily sold the newer of the 2, to a friend of mine. Any help is greatly greatly appreciated.

So I had someone smarter then me read my memory.dmp file. Here is what they came up with: The BSOD was caused by the "Si3531.sys" driver. It looks like you're using a Silicon Images chipset based card (or maybe the HP MediaSmart EX95x?).


I am using the ex-495 with the q9550s, does any else have the issue like this? 1.5.20.1 is the driver version in device manager. Driver date is 6/4/2009 any help is appreciated

Maybe need to reseat the backplane? Hopefully no damage to the backplane. Or maybe a bad drive?
