Came down this morning to find that my laptop had switched off over night (which it does now and again), so I started to power it up, looked at my trusty WHS v1 and to my dismay all three bays with drives in were flashing purple / blue. All the other lights are blue, so no obvious health issues. Opened up console, which had no issues, checked the SMART app and all the drives seem to have no issues. The only thing that was a concern, other than the flashing lights, was a script message appeared when I tried to open up the media centre status page on the default front end.

At that point I had to shoot to the office, so will be heading back home to see if a re-boot is in order.... unless anyone can shed some light on what this could be.

Thanks

EZ

Can't say I have heard of this, hopefully the reboot will help.
I just shut my server down last weekend for it's 6 month cleaning (power down, pull all drives, blow out everything, wipe down everything, reinstall drives, power up, run ccleaner on the remote desktop) good for another 6 months.
Great you have smart installed, at least you know what shape your drives are in.
Good luck and let us know if the reboot doesn't resolve it.
