Hi, I have a HP EX475 with WHS 1.1 . and trying to redo the OS on it.
I am directly linked to the server with my laptop that is running windows 7.
I did the setup to put the Server into recovery mode. and have it flashing purple and red.

I then run the OS recovery software on my laptop and when I click next after it telling me how to put server into recovery mode.
It gives me WHS Recovery has stopped working. and I have to close out the program.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Also try copying the contents of the DVD to the desktop and run from there. Also try right clicking on the app and choose run as administrator.
