Is it possible to modify the time at which the database cleanup starts? Currently I have backups starting at 5:00 AM but they are delayed for hours as the cleanup always seems to start at about the same time. If possible I would like the cleanup to begin earlier in the morning but have not been able to locate the event using any system tools available.

I am not aware of a way to change the time in which the Weekly Client Backup Database takes place. I looked in a few books I have here and looked online but could not find anything on how to do this.

Personally I would just perform a manual backup of your clients on Saturday night before going to bed and not worry too much about the Sun Morning Backups if they take place or not and then I would only perform those manual backups if there is something critical on the client you desire to preserve. The majority of client backups only take a few minutes anyway so they could also be done again in the morning before leaving for work.

From the help file it states that the cleanup is only performed on Sundays.
Quote:
To make room for additional backups, Windows® Home Server deletes old backups that you manually mark for deletion and old backups that are outside the Automatic Backup Management settings. This takes place on Sundays during the Backup Time.
