Hi,
Just wanted to let the forum know, I had a very stuborn access denied error problem in one of my shared folders, which led to a file conflict message in the Home Network Health pane of the WHS console.
I really tried everything to get rid of it, with the most successful solution being to install the Unlocker utility, allowing me to remove 1 by 1 the offending tombstone files in the D:\shares subdirectories.
And of course Murphy was around the corner, leaving me with 2 files I was unable to remove even with Unlocker. Really tried everything to get rid of those 2, and was unsuccessful.
Then I read in detail the brief on Drive Extender, and that mentioned that all tombstones are being rechecked when one removes a drive from the pool.
So I removed the disk that I previously had to rebuild, and after a day of removing (it was 2 TB), the offending tombstones were still there, but now I was able to delete them with the Unlocker utility!
Added the removed drive back to the pool, and no errors on file conflicts anymore!
Back in business!
Hope this can help someone with a similar situation...
Rgds
