Hi,

I used this guide to set up NFS Services on my WHS, which has worked fine so far:
http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2009/12 ... fs-in-whs/

However, when I add the Server in XBMC, it is found, and I can see the root folders that I shared (i.e. "Movies", "Series"), but as soon as I try to access one of the folders to show the subfolders, I get an error saying:

"no connection to network server".

I have disabled the Windows firewall, and I have created the group.txt and password.txt file in notepad and imported them. I also tried to change the sharing permissions, but nothing seems to work.

I also made sure that the user Guest is enabled in WHS.

What else could I try?

Edit: on another forum, someone gave me that hint:

"You need to ensure that connection from non privileged ports (all ports > 1024) are allowed."

how can this be done using the NFS Server I installed from Microsoft?
