Hello, I Had to do a server restore as the system drive on the server failed, everything went ok but now I can no access my shares for my username.

I can access the music, photos and videos folders, but when I try to access server/users/my name, I can see all the files just not access them

When you setup a user account you also have to configure the access privileges on the server. When you make a change to them you will not be given access until you reboot the client your using. Also make certain the User Name and Password on the Client your using is exactly the same as set on the server and when you first boot the client watch the small WHS Icon in the task bar to see if it complains about the user name not matching what is on the server as they need to match to provide access otherwise you will be prompted to enter a User Name and Password when you go to access your shares.

Again here if you do not have access to your shares check the user account privileges.

Have no password conflict message, and the privileges are set to Full, if I am looking at the same place you are thinking of, user accounts and then properties

FYI,
You will not get a error.
But if say you are using a account login shared by other clients like a guest account.
You would need to reboot all devices(clients) using same to reflect a change.

For example client 1 and 2 use the same login. Then you change permissions.
You should re-boot both clients since one of them continues to be logged-in.
