I have an EX495 that has been dropping external eSata drives and I've seen the issue on the Forum, but the solution link gets a 404 now (Age).
Power Options from the Control Panel don't provide any option to disable PCIe Link State Power Management.
I plan to try another new cable first, but also need the above info as a backup.
