I am running windows 7. I have an ex 485. The computer that was the original access point to my server (have a Mac that only sources iTunes from the server). I can access the Home Server console, but it is slow. When I try to access the settings tab the server boots me off and after several minutes indicates "the computer has lost connection to your home server. Check your connection and make sure your home server is powered on. Then try to connect again."

The server is powered on and the connection is fine. I need to access some info on one of the backup portions of the drive (to delete the backup in its entirety).

Can anyone help? Should I reload the software? I haven't been able to get the new software due to 64bit issues, not to mention not being able to access the settings tab.

I'd suggest you log onto the server via Remote Desktop and check the HomeServerConsole*.log files in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Home Server\logs

I don't see any errors. Would it be best to reinstall it?

A server recovery should resolve the issue, but I'm very surprised there isn't anything in the logs.
