How can I disable jumbo Frames in Ex495? I am having trouble with Ex495 constantly dropping network connectivity. I have to do a hard button restart every time and some people attribute this to network switch I added.

Can some one please provide a step by step to disable Jumbo Frames?

Sincerely

Raj

Jumbo Frames aren't enabled by default, have you enabled them?

I did not enable them. I was given that as the reason for connection dropping. Can you please think of any other reason this might be happening?

Sincerely

Rajesh

Your server could very likely be locking up due to problems with a hard drive, I'd install the Home Server SMART Add-In to check your drive health.

You are very correct. My server's both hard disk seems to have issues.

Can you please lets me know how I can change the hard drive that houses the Operating System? Is there a step by step instruction available somewhere that I can use.

Any help from you is sincerely appreciated.

Thanks so much for your help.

Try this Guide. It's a been awhile since it was written but I'll bet it's still valid. how-to-successfully-clone-and-upgrade-a-whs-system-drive

There are numerous discussions on this in the Troubleshooting forum, I'm moving this topic there.
