I took out my system drive so i could install a new system drive and then use the current one as as data drive. I planned to plug it into my PC and copy the shares folders onto my pc and then wipe the drive. However when i plugged it in i tried to open the files in shares and they cant be copied or opened, it says they are corrupt. If i put the drive back in the mediaserver i can access the files fine. This is a little dis concerning if i really had to put the drive in my computer to restore the data on it. What reason would their be that i cant access those files? I can access other files on the drive just not from the shares folder.
