Well after a couple days of frustration and deleting all backs I have finally found the answer to many peoples backup woes. My problems started after a failed windows update for .NET Framework. Since only my desktop had done this update it was the only to have the backup problem. Below is a link on how to uninstall the .Net Framework. It took me several attempts to get this to work right but it finally did. I then let the CPU do its automatic updates from Microsoft and everything reinstalled correctly and now my backup for the desktop is running again. To bad I followed what everyone was saying about deleting the old backups. Oh well live and learn. Hope this helps some people out. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100/en-us[url] [/url] |

I'd download the 3.5 .NET update from the Microsoft site myself . . . . I encountered errors as well after WINDOWS UPDATE tried to install it. It wants to download 2 updates. 3.5 release updates them both. Look for .NET 3.5 UPDATE ! |
